KEMA QuickStacks allows for a quick and reliable modeling of odor contours

Recent sharpening of the environmental laws led to the new national stench bill. New initiatives where stench is an issue, have to be tested against this bill. Based on the dispersion model KEMA-STACKS, KEMA has developed QuickStacks. Calculations are being performed for:
- contours around the sources
- stench load for 'odor sensitive locations'
- combination of both.
The model is developed in order to model for a limited number of animal dwellings ‘fast, simple and user-friendly’ the stench load for the direct environment. For this, we developed a special ‘quick & smart’ routine for an exact and reliable determination of the odor contours.
