In these times of long-term primary energy price increases and the entrance of new market participants into the retail business, the right strategy and sales positioning is the key to future business success.

With this in mind, special attention must be given to process procedures and interfaces in order to increase cost efficiency and to maintain and improve distribution activities.

Particularly the interface between trade and distribution is becoming more significant due to a backdrop of more complex distribution products and shorter deadlines for close-to-market quote calculations. Smarter interaction between distribution activities and procurement is required to position trade so that newly offered distribution products can be presented as products of a more complex structure, and to ensure higher-level risk management.
